NICKY FEARNLEY

Hi I'm Nicky, half owner of The Dog Spa and Wagging Tails Day Care. I have been grooming for 10 years. My husband Tom and I have two daughters, Brooke and Holly who are also dog crazy! We have two Bichon x Jack Russel dogs (Jack Frosts) 'Jorgie' and 'Roxy' – who are just so cute! We also have a moggie named 'Maggie' who is 13 years old and 3 goldfish. As you can see, I am an animal lover. I have so much passion for my job at The Dog Spa. I love getting up each morning and going in to work with our great little team – we have so much laughter! The dogs all seem to enjoy coming to us for grooming. We treat each one like family, with kindness, understanding and care.

MICHELLE MAISEY

Hi, I'm Michelle, The other half owner of The Dog Spa. I have been with the dog spa since 2010. Over the last 9 years my love for dogs has grown immensely. Being a animal fanatic I feel right at home here! I have a beautiful Samoyed named 'Nixon' and a lovely Catahoula ‘Hazel’ who I plan on doing agility with I also have a very talkative Siberian Husky called ‘Koda’. I also compete with Nixon in dog shows to a very high level Along with my parents Samoyed ‘Sakari’ who has made some breed history in the show ring. I've been showing dogs since 2005. Over that time I have learnt an extensive knowledge of dog breeds, temperaments, structure and training. My ultimate aim is to give our clients dogs a professional groom in an enjoyable and stress free environment.

Hi my name is Paige
I've been working with the dog spa and wagging tails daycare team since November 2019. And have been working within the animal care industry for four years now. I’m a day care mum! But you may also see me helping out in the grooming room. I absolutely love all dogs shapes and sizes. I also have a nzqa certification in companion animals. At home I have almost 12 year old border collie called Maddie and a 21 year old cat called Shala. I love working in the wagging tails daycare and seeing how it makes such a difference for dogs helping with socialization, behavioral traits and mental stimulation, sending the fur children home at the end of the day tired and happy.

Samantha Hislop

Hey I’m Sam, I just started with the Dog Spa team. I spend most of my time out the back in daycare keeping an eye on your baby's otherwise if I’m not there you'll find me helping to make them look beautiful in the grooming suite. I am a diploma qualified vet nurse and love all animals. Unfortunately I don't have any doggies of my own but I do have my one and a half year old kitten Maddie at home. Can't wait to get to know all of you and your precious pups.
